On 23 June 2026, the Faculty of Public Health, Thammasat University, welcomed Mr. Yuji Toyoshima, Division Manager of the International Trade Division, KOKEN LTD., Japan, for a collaborative discussion held at Room 1024, 10th Floor, Piyachart Building, Thammasat University (Rangsit Campus).

The delegation was warmly welcomed by Asst. Prof. Pol. Maj. Dr. Katiya Ivanovitch, Deputy Dean for Administration and International Affairs, together with Asst. Prof. Dr. Teeraphun Kaewdok and Asst. Prof. Dr. Ekarat Sombatsawat.

The meeting provided an opportunity for both parties to exchange perspectives on occupational health and workplace safety, with particular emphasis on respiratory protection technologies and personal protective equipment (PPE). Discussions covered current challenges in protecting workers from airborne hazards, including particulate matter, industrial dust, and hazardous substances encountered in various occupational settings.
Participants also explored advancements in respiratory protective equipment, including filtering facepiece respirators and other safety solutions designed to enhance worker health and safety. The discussion highlighted the importance of integrating innovation, research, and evidence-based practices to support effective occupational health management and risk prevention in workplaces.
